Description
The F1000 Dual Prop 1 HP Surface Aerator looks like a mushroom pattern, 2′ high and 4′ wide moving close to 1000 gallons per minute. This provides sight and sound as well as reducing phosphates that algae feed on. The F1000DP 1 HP Surface Aerator manufactured by Airmax, Inc., formerly Power House, is a very popular heavy duty unit offering many years of service. 115 or 230 volt models, 25′, 50’or 100′ electrical cords and 2 x 50′ anchor ropes with each unit.
The F1000DP surface aerator also works extremely well in winter ponds for swans, ducks, fish or other wildlife. Fish farmers can benefit from the low cost aeration for their trout rearing ponds. It can be installed in as little as 5 minutes with the tie ropes provided. They are also available with LED lights and timers providing you with great night time enjoyment!
Surface aerators are widely used in fish farming pond aeration as well as for waste water improvement. Due to the very high water turnover of the Power House surface aerators it can build and replenish oxygen levels improving water quality. Recycle lagoons, water treatment and landfill ponds are where they shine.
