The Pond Pro Can-Air oil-less rocking piston compressors are engineered and tested for rigorous, continuous-duty applications. The CA-Series is one of the most complete compressor line-ups on the market, offering both energy efficient 1/4 and 1/2 HP high and low flow. The size of the compressor fits well into a medium sized, well ventilated pump house near the waters edge. Alternatively it can be installed farther from the pond and use ½” tubing to pump air to the pond.

A very dependable air compressor for ponds up to 1 acre where 2-4 diffusers are needed.Runs comfortably at 4.5 CFM. and runs up to 30 psi. A 20’ deep pond uses 9.5 psi so this pump is well suited for our medium sized ponds. For degassing, water clarity or reducing sludge and odors the 2680CE44 is a very strong pump.

Thomas 617 aeration compressor is a strong unit producing 1.22 CFM of air for small and medium pond aeration needs. It is capable of running to 50 psi but most of our ponds are 5 to 20’ deep. This means the unit will be idling at 3 to 11 psi lasting for may years of service. Use one lake bottom diffuser in the middle or two 7” air diffusers if the pond is a long rectangle in shape. Backed by an 18 month warranty to protect you better. House in a small pump house that is well ventilated to stay cooler in the summer months.
