Pond Clarifier with beneficial bacteria is widely used in swimming ponds and dugouts to improve water quality, as well as, enhancing water clarity by removing floating particles in the water column.

How to use it

Pond Clarifier bacteria is available in a ½ LB packets that are to be thrown directly into the pond. Best practice is to throw evenly into water around pond surface on a calm day. A simple to use product for larger ponds and lakes, as the packets will take on water, dissolve and sink, The Pond Clarifier bacteria will contact and break down algae and other floating nutrients in the water column and sludge bed. Widely used in swimming areas in campgrounds to lower e-coli.

Why you need it

Ponds have a natural level of good bacteria which helps to clean and improve the health of the water. The number of natural bacteria may not be sufficient in ponds that have a high nutrient load caused by extensive dead plants, algae, and lower oxygen levels. Formulated to stimulate the natural activity with additional species of fast-acting bacteria, Pond Clarifier / Orb-3 Professional Bacteria attacks nutrients in the water column and sludge bed. Feeding on organics, odor-causing volatile, and waste from duck, geese, and fish that cause the muck to accumulate.

Dosage Rates

For smaller ponds dissolve one packet with 5 gallons of water, stir and disperse mixture over the pond.
For larger ponds treat regularly every 2 Weeks with following dosage, by tossing evenly over surface area:

5,000   SqFt       4 packets (2 LBS)
10,000 SqFt       8 packets (4 LBS)
20,000 SqFt     12 packets (6 LBS)
40,000 SqFt     18 packets (9 LBS)

1/2 LB Packets or Pellet Form
